OVERVIEW
Al Hilal Bank partnered with Xevric to enhance the UX and UI of its mobile banking application.
The objective was to improve product visibility, simplify navigation, and modernize the interface while maintaining familiarity for existing users and adhering to banking compliance requirements.
PROBLEM STATEMENT
Users of the Al Hilal Bank mobile app faced challenges accessing complete product information directly from the dashboard. Key Al Hilal products—intended to be prominent—were hidden within a carousel, resulting in limited visibility and reduced interaction. Essential features, such as requesting a chequebook, were buried deep within account details, requiring users to navigate multiple layers.

This fragmented navigation caused higher drop-off rates and lower engagement, as customers struggled to quickly find what they needed. The experience created friction in core banking journeys and negatively impacted both user satisfaction and business goals. Insights from the Dynamic Yield team reinforced the need for a more accessible, efficient, and engagement-driven dashboard layout.
SOLUTION
Xevric restructured the dashboard experience to surface key products more prominently and reduce dependency on carousels. Navigation paths were simplified to make essential actions easier to find, minimizing unnecessary steps. The UI was refreshed with improved typography, spacing, and hierarchy to support clarity across data-heavy screens.
DESIGN AUDIT
Xevric’s audit identified key opportunities to improve readability, hierarchy, navigation clarity, and personalization across the Al Hilal Bank mobile dashboard.

Our recommendations focus on shifting from a banking-centric layout to a user-centric dashboard—prioritizing clarity, accessibility, and meaningful actions that align with real customer needs.
